AgriSaveur Pontiac
AgriSaveur is an exciting project born from a decision by the council of mayors at the MRC Pontiac in the fall of 2023. Recognizing that agriculture is a key industry in the Pontiac, and that the region has limited agri-food transformation capacity, the MRC decided to launch this signature innovation project aimed at fostering local economic growth and sustainability.

The abattoir is operated by our cooperative, which is made up of dedicated
regional producers, support members, and future employees who share a
common vision: to provide an essential service to the agricultural industry, the
local community, and the region at large. Our goal is to support sustainable
practices and ensure high-quality, locally sourced meat products for everyone.
